Business Alliance HR Services is recruiting a Finance Manager for a leading industrial company located in Nablus, Palestine.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accounting Department Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage a team of accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and closures.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes within the organization.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Monitor cash flow projections and ensure the availability of funds for daily operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks and improve cash flow efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Implement internal controls to minimize the risk of fraud or financial misstatements.
- Deliver all needed financial reporting to the PCMA and Stock Market Exchange
- ERP System Implementation
- Lead the implementation of a new ERP system, ensuring seamless integration with existing financial systems and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably with experience in implementing or upgrading ERP systems.
- Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge in the manufacturing and/or food industry is a big plus.
Years of experience:
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Location:
Nablus, Palestine.
Languages Required:
Fluent in Arabic & English.
