Job Description



Business Alliance HR Services is recruiting a Safety and Risk Manager for an International NGO that has been working for tens of years in Palestine.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  1. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety and risk management policies and procedures that align with international best practices and local regulations.




  2. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities in the workplace including physical, and security risks.




  3. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the likelihood and impact of identified risks.




  4. Oversee the implementation of security measures to safeguard staff, visitors, facilities, and assets. 




  5. Establish and maintain protocols for the safe operation and maintenance of organizational vehicles.




  6. Provide training and support to employees on safety and risk management practices, including emergency response procedures.




  7. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement a crisis management plan that includes emergency response procedures.




  8. Collaborate with the management team to ensure that all employees are aware of and adhere to safety policies and procedures.




  9. Collaborate and follow up with internal teams, external partners, or government agencies on a variety of documents as needed.




 

 



Requirements




  1. A valid driving license is a must.




  2. Proven experience in developing and managing risk management programs.




  3. Specialized training in safety and security management. 



  4. Training in internationally recognized safety and security protocols is a plus. 



  5. Good knowledge of communications equipment and operations.




  6. Good knowledge of Jerusalem and West Bank roads.




  7. Understanding and familiarity with governmental protocols concerning safety and security and movement of people and goods.




  8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.




 


Years of experience:


Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant working experience (in Safety, Security, and Risk).


Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Social Science, or any related field.


 


Location:

Ramallah and Jerusalem, Palestine.


Languages Required:


Fluent in Arabic, and English.


Good in Hebrew.
