We’re seeking a talented, organized Tendering Department Engineer to lead our tendering function. You’ll own the full tender lifecycle—analyzing requirements, designing solutions, coordinating with technical/service/sales teams, and crafting winning proposals that clearly differentiate ACT Medical.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end tender management for medical equipment and solutions.
Analyze tender specifications, build compliance matrices, and design fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
Draft persuasive technical & commercial proposals, BoQs, and clarifications.
Coordinate internally with Sales, Service Engineering, Clinical, Logistics, and Finance to ensure accurate pricing, delivery terms, and risk controls.
Maintain a structured pipeline and follow-up cadence (deadlines, addenda, pre-bid meetings, site visits).
Conduct market and product research; prepare concise reports and present insights.
Track competing offerings and value propositions; propose differentiators.
Manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines with high accuracy and documentation discipline.
Represent ACT Medical professionally in workshops, training, and industry events.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
B.Sc. in Biomedical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a closely related engineering discipline.
1+ years of relevant experience in tendering, technical proposals, or pre-sales engineering (medical devices preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); strong Excel skills (formulas, pivots).
Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic; Hebrew is an advantage.
Strong teamwork, ownership mindset, and professional demeanor; meticulous attention to detail.
Nice to Have (Advantages):
Experience with hospital tenders in Israel / Palestinian market.
Familiarity with AMAR, ISO 13485/14971, and CE/FDA documentation.
Knowledge of ICU/OR/CSSD/Neurology equipment portfolios (e.g., ventilators, anesthesia, sterilizers, EEG/EMG).
Must have a Jerusalem ID.
