- Middle School Mathematics Teacher
- Middle/High School Computer Science Teacher
International American Academy (IAA) is seeking passionate, knowledgeable, and student-centered educators to join our team for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Mathematics Teacher Responsibilities:
Teach middle school mathematics using an engaging, standards-based approach.
Develop lesson plans that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and conceptual understanding.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback.
Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
Integrate technology to enhance student learning.
Computer Science Teacher Responsibilities
Teach middle and/or high school computer science courses, including programming, computational thinking, and digital citizenship.
Design engaging, hands-on lessons that encourage creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Integrate project-based learning and real-world applications into instruction.
Encourage innovation through technology and emerging fields such as robotics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and educational technology.
Qualifications:
Mathematics Teacher:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
Minimum of two years of teaching experience is preferred.
Computer Science Teacher:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
Teaching experience in computer science or STEM education is preferred.
Experience with robotics, AI, cybersecurity, or educational technology is an advantage.
Requirements for Both Positions
Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required.
Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
Commitment to continuous professional growth and student success.
Ability to work collaboratively within a professional learning community.
