As part of the group, Jala Wataniyah specializes in the production of Al-Meera brand’s hummus, and salads. The facility is known for its commitment to high-quality manufacturing standards and operational excellence.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee our hummus and salad production lines and be the main maintenance and technical reference. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical understanding of machinery, and the ability to manage both people and processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Technical Responsibilities:
Conduct routine preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
Monitor HMI systems, pumps, valves, and filling machines; respond promptly to any operational issues.
Manage and operate CIP (Clean-in-Place) cleaning systems at the end of production.
Supervise daily operations of hummus and salad filling lines to ensure smooth production flow.
Team Leadership:
Directly manage a team of operators and workers; assign tasks and monitor performance.
Provide hands-on training, mentoring, and enforce food safety and workplace safety standards.
Supervise, and support production line staff by setting clear expectations, providing clear actionable feedback regularly, monitoring performance, and ensuring a safe, collaborative, and disciplined work environment.
Cleaning & Sanitation:
Ensure compliance with cleaning, sanitation, and disinfection protocols.
Maintain strict hygiene standards in accordance with GMP, HACCP, and internal food safety procedures.
Production Planning & Materials Coordination:
Support in planning production schedules based on forecasts.
Coordinate with supply chain or planning teams to ensure proper material flow.
Possess a moderate understanding of material planning and how to align resources with production targets.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree or diploma in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in food manufacturing (preferably dairy, dips, or chilled products).
Strong understanding of mechanical functionality and production capacity of machinery.
Solid mechanical knowledge: pumps, valves, HMI systems, CIP processes.
Proven leadership skills and experience in managing frontline production staff.
Bilingual: Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
