In line with our vision, Amwaj is seeking a qualified Accountant to play a key role in driving sales and building strong relationships with our clients. The Sales Officer will be responsible for prospecting, meeting with customers, and closing deals that align with their needs. Amwaj is looking for a dedicated team member who is committed to delivering high-quality work, fostering creative collaboration within the team, and contributing to the overall pursuit of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit periodic financial reports to the direct supervisor.
Develop and monitor annual budgets.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and account reconciliations.
Manage cash flow, invoices, collections, and payments.
Record journal entries on an accrual basis and perform year-end adjustments.
Review and follow up on financial agreements with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
Prepare monthly payroll and ensure the accuracy of all calculations.
Monitor receivables, payables, and check due dates.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Maintain and archive accounting and financial records.
Track and manage project assets and calculate depreciation.
Facilitate internal and external audit processes.
Prepare and monitor project budgets and cost allocations according to timelines.
Develop financial forecasts and budget estimates for projects.
Arrange and process payments in accordance with company policies and financial procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Excellent in using the Bisan accounting software
Native Arabic speaker and excellent in English.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
