Job Summary
Contributing to the provision of hospitality and food services for patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring service quality and adherence to hygiene and occupational safety standards
Candidate Profile
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors in a professional, courteous, and compassionate manner.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering telephone calls, responding to inquiries, and directing calls to the appropriate departments.
- Schedule, coordinate, and confirm patient appointments while efficiently managing physicians' clinic schedules.
- Prepare, maintain, and update patient medical records, ensuring accurate data entry into the Hospital Information System (HIS).
- Process patient referrals and financial coverage authorizations (Hitchayvut), ensuring all required documentation is complete and complies with hospital policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with physicians, nursing staff, and other hospital departments to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient clinic operations.
- Prepare medical reports, correspondence, and other administrative documents as required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and medical records in accordance with hospital policies and applicable privacy regulations.
- Ensure the availability and proper organization of clinic documentation, forms, and office supplies.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the position as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Qualification
- The applicant must be a resident of Jerusalem.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Secretarial Studies or a related field.
- Fluency in Hebrew (spoken, reading, and writing) is required.
- Fluency in English (spoken, reading, and writing) is required.
- Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous experience in medical centers or hospitals is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and handle work pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with patients and visitors.
- Commitment to a professional appearance, workplace ethics, and maintaining confidentiality.
