Procurement Officer

We are seeking an experience procurement officer to manage daily purchasing and supply chain operations across all departments. The role involves handling market research, preparing requests for quotation, processing purchase orders (SAP/manual), maintaining vendor records, verifying invoices, tracking deliveries, and supporting the temporary procurement committee.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.



• Minimum of 3 years of relevant procurement experience.



• Strong analytical, negotiation, and supplier evaluation skills.



• Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and Microsoft office (excel required).



• Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.



• Ability to work effectively under pressure and within a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with hospital procurement policies and procedures.



• Review purchase requisitions, conduct market research, and obtain quotations.



• Evaluate supplier offers, prepare procurement documentation, and issue purchase orders.



• Verify invoices, maintain procurement records, and support inventory tracking.



• Monitor supplier performance, contracts, and delivery schedules.



• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical procurement standards.



• Active participation in relevant procurement committees.



• Residency: It is preferred that applicants be residents of Bethlehem
