Anesthesia Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the anesthesiologist during induction, intubation and monitoring.



• Prepare anesthesia machines, airway equipment, and vital sign monitors prior to surgical procedures.



• Maintain stock, check expiration dates, and properly organize specialized pediatric anesthesia medications, intravenous lines, and consumables.



• Perform routine equipment checks and promptly report any malfunctioning, damaged, or unsafe equipment.



• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize reusable anesthesia equipment in coordination with Hospital Guidelines and policies.



• Strict adherence to hospital quality guidelines, infection control protocols, and patient privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Anesthesia Technology or related field.



• Valid license to practice from the ministry of health.



• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.



• High attention to detail and ability to handle clinical emergencies.



• Strong team collaboration skills, and excellent communication and documentation abilities.
